T O P
Spider-starry

He came back and basically acted like he hadn’t been away from the role for twenty years. A true king! 🫡🤴

dsr1017

He's something of a king himself.

TyrionGoldenLion

His son must be very proud.

nanomaster

That king is his father, and if he’s lucky he’ll be half the actor he is.

TyrionGoldenLion

Now look at little King Jr...

[deleted]

"No one says no to me!" Indeed

Brittle5quire

Hail to the king baby

Amritgaming999

Acted like he wasn’t away nah he acted as if this was his prime in my opinion

Voltra_Neo

The best Spider-man Villain is still Sony

SyntheticReverie113

Avi Arad

Cosmic_Knight_1975

So many amazing crossovers and interesting ideas could have happened years ago, if he hadn't continously stepped in the way

SyntheticReverie113

Raimi could've kept going onto Spider-Man 5 like he planned

LADYBIRD_HILL

I wonder if they could've kept Toby this whole time and integrated him into the MCU? That would've been a fascinating way of building the MCU, a Peter that's the same age as the other heroes.

StreetReporter

Honestly at that point, the best course of action story wise would be to have Spider-Man retire from the hero life for the most part, and focus on Mayday Parker becoming a new hero, with Peter occasionally suiting up. I don’t know what it is, but the idea of Spider-Man being the same age as the likes of Dr Strange, Iron Man, and Hawkeye would just feel weird, and you’d lose the go to relatable hero for kids

DoctorProffalternate

Gonna cry?

Cosmic_Knight_1975

Well, yes actually

TyrionGoldenLion

I legit want to put some dirt in Arad's eyes. What an absolute moron.

[deleted]

"I should've known Sony wouldn't have the spine to finish you!" Raimi "Shut it down Exec, you're gonna disappoint a lot more people this time."

TyrionGoldenLion

*the worst

Oitlog05

His facial expressions always give me the chills.

[deleted]

The sheer insanity and evil in them😳. MCU Spidey never fought no one as sadistic and cruel as him.

Oitlog05

It was his biggest challenge yet.

JurassicPark9265

I can just hear the top right image in my ear by merely looking at it

Quqidjs

Can Dafoe come out to play?

Willing-Load

Willem’s on sabbatical, honeyyy

[deleted]

"YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I SACRIFICED?!"

Willing-Load

you’re out, u/KruegerVoorhees662.

Quqidjs

No please. Please don't say that. I know we've been selfish (not praising Dafoe much) but we can do better.

BoarBoah

A part of me is still sad we didn’t see more of his mask. However, it truly allowed him to use his extremely expressive face.

Billybluballs

I think it was the right move. Defoe is one of a kind and is extremely expressive like you stated. One of my favorite actors, he always goes all in.

TyrionGoldenLion

Also crushing the mask was a brilliant scene. It showed Norman is still not too far gone.

LGamerDelta

It's a genius way that Willem shows his facial expressions without the helmet.

JeffsDad

Honestly, he's become one of my all time favorite actors since like 2000. He's absolutely unreal, one of the coolest people to ever live. Just wish he hung dong before he blew up the lobby.

redditer333333338

19 years*

A_Green_Olive

Starting with a showstopper.

Kekulaaa

Cant wait to finally see the movie in september

Spielburger_witFries

You can delete the word “Spider-Man” in the caption, and this still remains accurate

what_about_Mark

I'm something of a goat myself

Luiyo033

He beat up 2 different spider-men, and then laugh about it.

Willing-Load

-enters a different universe -beats up his second Peter Parker -refuses to elaborate -leaves

Worm_Scavenger

The fact that NWH was sold and advertised by the fact that Wilem Dafoe's Green Goblin was going to be the main villain speaks volumes of just how much people still love this legend.
