Isn’t that the guy who invented the suit? Pretty sure he’ll be making a killing from that, see lots of people wearing them.
Don't forget his hair, same as Butthead's
I relooked at pic after reading your comment and imagined him snickering in Buttheads voice , it's like Buttheads had the million dollar makeover but still looks like Butthead. Well spotted.
Every wedding, funeral and job interview I've been to, I've always had to give a shoutout to Willy Moon for creating my attire.
His skull shape is clearly a rip off of [the daughter of Amenhotep IV](https://collection.sciencemuseumgroup.org.uk/objects/co84636/copy-of-a-statue-showing-a-deformed-cranium-cairo-egypt-1920-1933-statue). I don’t think he has anything original.
Heard he sued the Arctic Monkeys over their look too
My favourite part of this episode is when he said the contestant looks like a serial killer, and she said the contestant looks like her husband.
Tbf her husband does look like a serial killer. The other guy looked good tho
They went from slightly relevant back to completely irrelevant.
When were they slightly relevant? I only remember her in a stupid LMFAO song...
I guess "slightly relevant" because they were on this show. But yeah I didn't know of them before their "incident", and I completely forgot about them again until today.
That was it
She changed her name to Teddy Sinclair. They moved to New York and their apartment caught fire from a gas fire. They lost "all of their belongings". They managed to save their dog, Bambi.
The dude met a guy on an airplane while the apartment was burning. When he arrived to his burnt out apartment he didn't know who to turn to, so he phoned the guy he met from a payphone and met up with him at a bar.
The guy he met then suggested that all his material belongings were holding him back and that they should start a fight club.
Mate, did you forget the first rule.
I thought you were making that shit up but no, it's legit, she really does go by [Teddy Sinclair](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teddy_Sinclair) (bibliography cites multiple sources for her changing the name she goes by)
Insurance fraud 101
*What was in the the apartment mam? A Picasso, Banksy orignal, and the unreleased Wu Tang Clan album? You live in a $1,000 a month apartment, with $20 billion in assets stored here?*
I don't think a 1K a month NYC apartment could fit a Wu Tang Clan album
Yup, that's right sir. I'll settle for 1 billion though.
I’m actually more interested in what happened to the bird shit stain that was on my porch two years ago than whatever happened with these two.
I think the better question is, does anyone care what happened to these two? I mean, they haven't even managed to sneak on to the Masked Singer or Celebrity Treasure Island!
>they haven't even managed to sneak on to the Masked Singer or Celebrity Treasure Island!
Thats a fact you shouldn't know!
Shame! Shame! Shame! \*rings bell\*
I do not like the cone of shame....
Quick check and looks like she wrote a song on the new BlackPink album
Damn, didn’t know this
This is less of a big deal in kpop than you would think - if she wrote a demo 7 years ago and the main hook gets sampled, boom that’s a songwriting credit. It doesn’t mean she’s hot shit now
And he wrote three.
They’re doing fine.
Bold assumption. They could've contributed anywhere from a single word to an entire song and be credited as writer for that song. How much they contributed to a song will show up on their splits for that record.
If they're getting a 10 point split from sales on that record then its highly likely they wrote almost the entire thing. If they're getting 1 point or less then its highly likely the opposite it true and they may have contributed very little.
Probably contributed to that one English word they always throw out in kpop
this was the case for a guy who was just chilling in the studio as part of Kanyes entourage during a recording session. I forget who told the story but he said a dude suggested Kanye change one word on his hook and Kanye gave the guy writing credits on his album lol.
Fun fact, this is called [decorative English](https://www.encyclopedia.com/humanities/encyclopedias-almanacs-transcripts-and-maps/decorative-english) (apparently a literal translation of [kazari eigo](https://bluejapan.org/blog/2021/05/02/decorative-english-in-japanese-diving/))
there's a leaked demo which is sung by just natalia kills
Lol not even the "Where Are They Now?" Sites give a shit.
I didn't know who they were before this show and didn't bother to remember it after they left.
God she was a horrible little gremlin.
She is the worst. Self-absorbed pos. This is how I assume trolls behave irl.
It's disappointing really that they seem to be doing okay writting songs for groups such as blackpink.
Pretty sure she's a songwriter who's written for a few A-list pop stars recently. She's released a couple of albums since then, but they've been indie as she was dropped by her record label. But, she had a career to lose before X-Factor. He only ever had that one song that was only big because it was in an Apple commercial, probably doing some producing or something like that.
As others have said, the outcry stopped them from fronting the music but they're working behind the scenes.
I assume based on their appearance they returned to their castle, operating in the darkness of night to suck blood of innocent passers-by before returning to their coffins to rest during for day.
Got a 30 day zuccing for making a similar joke on Facebook lol
What we do in the shadows.
Really good movie and tv show btw.
Holy Shit she is 100% what they based Najda on.
Vampires live in flats just like you and me, haven’t you seen the documentary?
They went back to the obscurity they came from in the first place.
I've never been more pleased to no know who someone is.
Cancelled for being fuckwits.
I had no idea who they were until this story broke.
The guy on stage they were berating handled it like a pro tho.
One of my friends met him at a karaoke night a few weeks ago, apparently he’s really nice in person too
I can't even remember what they did but I do remeber they were hated.
Someone remind me
The two basically bullied a contestant on the show because he looked a little similar to the man on the left
Ah that's right. Egotistical narsacist. Felt threatened by someone wearing clothes. Had to make them feel bad instead of being flattered.
More likely they were just instructed to play the mean judge for the show and leant a little too hard into it.
Bruh they could've toppled a skyscraper with how hard they leant into it
I don't think so. Nobody commits career suicide on purpose like that.
They didn’t say that.
Found it. Was worse than I remembered
They were judges on X factor NZ and one of the contestants wore a black suit. She accused the contestant of copying her husband including hair, suit and singing style.
Bat shit crazy stuff, like no one had ever worn a suit to sing before.
[watch it here ](https://youtu.be/4w6VN_G9FsQ)
My favourite part was when the host walks out after and he also has pretty much the same look.
I knew the guy they did this to, my mum and his mum are friends. He was a really sweet guy and absolutely did not deserve this to happen, we were all really disappointed in the lack of support he was given after it as well
Poor dude. I remember him being the sweetest guy. Feel so awful for him. He should've got a modelling contract for a suit shop out of it.
Her rant was so scripted lmfao
Who would agree to commit career suicide on purpose?
Simon Cowell started off by being really mean under the guise of being “honest” as his bit. I was a very early 2000s judge stereotype, these knuckleheads just did a bit too late after the world had realized that mean doesn’t actually mean funny or insightful
This wasn't 'mean' - it was hateful
Absolutely this. Like most of NZs shows..we did it a long time after everyone else did, and shitter.
Aaaaaactually....... New Zealand show "Pop Stars", which eventuated with True Bliss, is considered the world's first of these types of popular singing shows, precluding both "* Idol" and "X Factor" by a couple of years.
I guess kiwis have always loved a good talent quest.
So in a way, we are to blame for all of these terrible shows.
>So in a way, we are to blame for all of these terrible shows.
Really wish I hadn't read this.
Yeah pop stars started here and went to Aussie and a few other places and eventually the UK. Then they repackaged it as pop idol for solo artists instead of making the band, and that was the first in the long line of similar shows for solo singers that sadly is still going today.
Haha didn't realize that..thanks!
No worries :)
Yeah and Popstars was in turn based on how they created the spice girls right?
No clue lol but there's no way it was an off the cuff thing if you listen to the way she was speaking
I did listen. It didn't sound scripted to me. Ppl who work in entertainment are usually confident speakers and that can come across as more polished.
A lot of the people who do stuff like this aren't intelligent enough to see the consequences coming.
They just want attention, any attention, and will do what it takes to get it.
Yep I think she was arrogant and believed her 'fame' would protect her. She was wrong.
My brother worked on the show, and it was definitely not scripted.
Not a single word spoken was rehearsed or pre-arranged to be said.
Not scripted, just nutjob
No, it was scripted. They were asked to be the "mean judges". In this particular episode though, the producer asked them to be "more controversial" for this particular episode (I forget the reasons why. Something to do with wanting to increase coverage or the fact it was coming to finals?) and they did just that.
Unfortunately, there was a crossover where their comments were either a little bit too mean, or their comments went a little bit too viral. And what happened is what we got.
My personal opinion, they may have gone a bit too far, and the media really turned their claws on to them which helped it go a bit viral and quickly, and I think it was like the perfect storm.
If I remember correctly, they had their contracts altered and were allowed to leave early with full pay and there might have been an extra financial package afterwards also.
This was a combination of both the producer and those two, I think.
Source: I knew someone who worked on the show
That's not "scripted" though. That's just production briefing them on the kind of content that they want. Reality tv can be "semi-scripted" where they are coached and lead in what they say, or just unscripted entertainment, which this is more like.
Scripted in the sense of their directions from the production team were to be "mean", not scripted in the sense that not a single word they spoke was pre-written
Aka not scripted.
I wasn’t really that bad? Stupid yes The meaning of to hurt someone’s feelings? It was such a weird rant
The male judge said that he thought the contestant looked like he was going to kill people in the audience and wear their skin
But then his wife said that the contestant was trying to copy her husband which I always thought was a bit of a dig at both hubby and the contestant
I dont think it was BUT i do think they told her to stir the pot a bit for views but if so then that’s soo rough that they would fire her for it lmao she understood the assignment!
Yeah the fact people got their knickers in a twist over this was hilarious, this has been happening on these talent shows since Cowell on American Idol
Not like this. There's harsh criticism of a performance, but this is straight up on camera bullying that gets personal about the guy. It's just mean as fuck.
Sure but they're literally directed to do this. They went too far, but the amount of controversy was insane. People know what they sign up for on these shows.
Lots of ridiculous pearl clutching
They returned to the obscurity they enjoyed before their brief moment of fame as a pair of assholes bullying a talent show contestant.
Wille works at the BP in Murrays Bay, and Natalia runs an online pet accessories website.
Use CODE: DOPPELGANGER for 25% off.
What shoe was this and what were their names?
Ugh, I had truly forgotten about these turds. Thanks...
Ooo when NZ reality television tried to do something spicy but chickened out and ruined two kiwi artist's career in NZ.
Natalie is english not kiwi
Bloody hell, I was just thinking about these two this morning and they pop up on Reddit. Are phones reading minds now?
Plot twist: OP is one of the people in the pic, trying to remind us they exist.
They returned to the shadow realm where nobody could copy whatever his name is.
I only remember her name and her weird rant about a contestant on that show copying that guy's outfit or something?
They’re the daily briefing sign language interpreters, right?
What did they do to become game show hosts?
All I remember them doing was claiming he invented a suit.
I think the chick changed her stage name and tried to continue releasing music under the new name but all her shit flopped.
Who tf are these people?
how many enjoy shitty pizza, but now pizza has actually gotten so shit that it is actually shit pizza, meanwhile there is no in between 'shit pizza' and 'good pizza', so the void where shitty pizza used to be is gone
I have to assume that someone threw holy water on them and they dissolved into a screaming pink mist
Happy cake day!
Is anyone going to fill those of us who have no clue in on who these people are?
I'm assuming they were on an nz talent show, from other comments, but no idea who they are or what the rant someone referred to is.
I tried to watch that clip, but I couldn't do it. I couldn't make it all the way through. Yikes.
I genuinely have no idea who these people are and frankly I feel like I’m better off not knowing based on these comments.
Winner winner...... :D
Twat attempt at U.S modeled pop culture! losers be losers. Look at the state of them. Imagine if that was your legacy, god that’s cringe aweful. 🤡
probably ended up back on the pipe
Sadly they are more successful than you will be hoping for. They are doing ok
Who hurt you?, the title litterally had no malice in it, more of a curious question.
I don’t understand the bandwagon voting, I think people misread the above comment.
“More successful than you will be hoping for”
That reads to me as “they are making more money than they deserve, your hopes that they are nobody’s is unfortunately not true”
But reddit is reddit and if you see downvotes you gotta pile on
U r absolutely correct. But now i have to sleep knowing they are doing well. Aint nobody wanna hear that 😤
Now that’s what I call a back track.
I still love u doe
Thank you for this reply.
Their careers were destroyed. They did it to themselves
They wrote blackpink songs and made millions.
Isn't she total bitch or something?
Went on to obscurity
I know she changed her name but other than that 🤷♂️
Went back to where they came. Nobodies to start and nobodies to end
I don't know who they are
They were both so punchable. My god.
I remember them - ish... remind me again why i was super angry with them?
They were cunts, from memory.

Hopefully they climbed back under the slimy rock they came out of
Typical Col wanker and his psycho wife.
I'm under the impression that incident was their total career suicide... I haven't seen either of them pop up in anything or doing anything since.
I think they've (semi) recently learned about [karma](https://www.nzherald.co.nz/entertainment/apartment-fire-x-factor-judges-willy-moon-and-natalia-kills-lose-everything/LTDTR52RFU4XEKZJDCEZ5QU56Y/) and I don't mean the reddit kind.
Imagine having a house fire and then publicly stating that she tried to set fire to her ex-boyfriend's house in the past. Shit-for-brains.
Who even are they
The one on the left is rick astley and the one on the right is judy bailey. Pic is from 1985
I met the guy who got them kicked off, joe irv, he first sung to me, then he tried to sell me his prescribed benzos, and then when I declined, he said I can pay for them in "other ways". Ahhahahaha actual was so funny and slightly terrifying😂😂
I vaguely remember these two from some staged thing I saw on some reality style show about 5 years ago, and not knowing who they were or what show it was. That hasn't changed.
Roasted..that's what happened to them after that show lol
Didnt their house burn down or something?
Can someone please provide me some context
Oompa loompa lookin bitch
She’s on Only Fans, and he’s “gay for pay”.
I'm pretty sure Natalia just went back to being a songwriter, no idea about the dude though.
Think I saw em outside nite n day on cuba
They lost their house in a fire and went obscure
I'm pretty sure the guy travelled back in time to the nineties and became that arsehole Blair Mulholland.
A more pertinent question is, why does anyone care?
If they where any more than *coughs* at best, F list New Zealand celebrities (that's just one rung higher than the dancing guy at the top of onewa road) then maybe they'd pop up at a night market and I'd laugh as I bought some socks knowing they're (the socks) are going to last longer than their (those two numpties) notoriety.
