only use leper if you have a lot of reliable back line access. As much as possible AVOID no torch runs and night ambush because being surprised with a leper is a nightmare if he gets to slot 3 or 4
Yeah I don’t understand torchless runs lol so I won’t be doing them for a while, what could be a reliable back line acces?
Arbalest, Houndmaster, And occultist are 3 classes that are really good together for healing, damage, and debuffs. Switch the leper out for a hellion if you want a really solid starting team to carry you until you are in a comfortable position to experiment.
I wouldnt really recommend the leper in the early game and when you are still starting out because hes quite hard to build around, its much safer and consistent to have a crusader instead.
Thanks those are very solid tips! Why about flagellant, Man at Armas, highwayman those are also classes I enjoy quite a lot should I stop too? Or can I keep lvl ing up
you can pretty much fit highway man into any comp. Hes easily the most versatile class in the game. It is highly recommended that you always bring a vestal when you use highwayman. For flagellant, i havent played with him yet i dont have the dlc. Ive heard that in mid to late game hes a decent healer with strong bleed damage.

Replace Leper with Hellion or Crusader. Vestal is always good to have around.
Houndmaster shines in high-level Marked for Death party
I don’t understand what makes hellion good.. I didn’t like her the one dungeon I used her in
Hellion can attack all 4 enemy rows from the 1st position.
Excellent damage dealer with self-heal, good camping skills.
Hellion is the games strongest front-liner.
\-She heals herself, also removing blights and bleeds (Adrenaline Rush)
\-She attacks rank 4 (Iron Swan)
\-She attacks rank 3 (If It Bleeds)
\-She stuns TWO targets at once (Barbaric YAWP) aside from her, only the plague doctor can do this. And plague doctor stuns 3+4, aka it's right back to one target, once something is dead. Meanwhile the hellion's stun for both tanks is the perfect stalling tool, letting you heal for free.
\-Her camping skill Revel removes 20 stress from all heroes. Good luck cleaning 80 stress off your party with a Shieldbreaker or Leper.
\-Many of her class specific trinkets carry very high accuracy. There's one for high torchlight (+10), one for low torchlight (+15), and one for Color of Madness (+15). Accuracy is probably the most essential stat in DD.
\-Looks pretty cool, especially during Iron Swan
\-Shouts weird badass gaelic shit at people while they die
Few tips there :
Vestal fit in ANY composition. It’s honestly the best character of the game, since it’s versatile enough to go everywhere. But. You have to grind some stuff, since her healing is pretty meh early on.
You want to play around 2 factor : bleed and blight. Bleed is good to carry you over the Piglands and the Woods, and Blight is godlike in the Ruins and the Cove.
For example, Bleed Comp : Vestal (4), Houndmaster (3) or Jester, Flagellant (2), and Valkyrie (1).
Blight Comp : Vestal (4), Plague Doc (3), Graverobber (2), and any tank, Men at Arm is pretty good imo.
Stress is really problematic later on the game, and on certain areas, Ruins and Cove mostly, and ofc DD, but you’ll come to that later. Focus on disease early, they tend to be a problem quickly.
Build the bank ASAP. It’s probably the best building, bringing income every week (5% of your unspent gold).
Bosses are tough the first time, and DD is even harder. Check the wiki for global strat, or be prepared to get chunked to bits.
DON’T start the dlc. It’s something I can’t stress enough, it will just add a LOT of trouble for barely nothing.
Isn’t Valkyrie a mod?
Fury* mb ahah
I will try some variants of the comps u said thanks!!!
Also what area do you mean by piglands xd
