Show them this video and tell them "You're twice as old as this kid. You need to get your shit together."
Edit: I'm just glad the kid didn't eat the concrete.
Love how the dude in the blue shorts gets lost in the moment and is about to body slam hug the kid and then quickly checks himself and reevaluates the appropriate force for the hug
gonna be honest with all the people yelling at once it could be a lot of languages, I thought it was Slovenian since most of the words in there I can understand. The accent isn't slovenian though.
Right that got me too. he was getting ready to go full testosterone chest bump and then realized the kid was as tall as his kneecap and paused to gather himself.
Yeah but with his size and running ability he looks a lot older than 18 months. 2 at least, probably 2 1/2. If he’s 18 months, he’s 99th percentile in height and off the curve with motor development
Came here to say this lol. No way he is under 2. My son sees a PT and occupational therapist monthly and this kind of motor function and running ability is never seen in 18month babies lol
Not necessarily, my son is also tall and has always had very good gross motor skills for his age. But it isn't as good as it sounds. He had those moves and physical capacity, but not enough brain to understand that some things are just unsafe e.g. when he was barely 11 months old, he moved a large trash bin and climbed from it on a kitchen table, because there were some biscuits on it. I found him on his way up, when he tried to climb on a shelf above the table:/ it all happened in under 2min while I was in a toilet. Later, he would practice his climbing skills by simply pulling himself on the top of chest of drawers -that little guy has an insane upper body strength.
He'll turn 3 in April and it gets better as he starts to realise that just because you can, it doesn't mean you should. Yet for now, cooling pads and gels are our best friends:(
I did the same thing as a kid but it instead involved eating an entire bottle of children's Tylenol because it tasted good. The nurses didn't even believe I could open the child proof container until they gave me one and I showed them.
Depends on the kid - one of mine definitely couldn't have run etc like this the other... Fuck me he was faster then me by 14 months and would steal his brothers scooter and fly off while I sobbed .... (He was walking by 8 months, the other was more like 14 months..)
Disagree.
Source: I have a 19 month old who is in the 20th percentile (as of December 8) and she moves like this if not better.
She also has two siblings she quickly learned to run away from.
Honestly things like this create a strong conntection between succesfully throwing a ball and feeling good in his brain, that will last for the rest of this kids life.
And at some point he will just think the throwing itself is just fun when in reality he is mostly remembering the love and happyness he felt on these days.
They are Serbians? I listened to what they were saying I could’ve swear it’s Romanian with a thicker accent, I could clearly understand: “haide” “dă-i coș” “șut” “intră”
They are 1000% Serbs... because this video is few months old, and little kid is nephew of Serbian player who plays in ABA league. I'll try to find a link to original news
Serbian, surely. I'm Bulgarian and their countdown in the beginning goes "Jedan, dva, tri". They also say, at least from what I can make out with the low quality audio, "Trci, hajde", which should mean "Run, come on".
Dunno who else but them, us and Macedonians would say "Trci"
I like how they encouraged him to get up instead of making a big deal about it. Seen so many times when kids cry because their parents make them feel like something bad happened.
This is one of those moments in during childhood that will shape their life and they'll probably never remember it.
But let's be honest, they were taking it really easy on that kid. I could've beat him easily.
This made me so emotional. I’m in such a state of despair right now mentally that this absolutely broke me. Humanity, support, joy???? Can’t tell if this is heartbreaking or if it lifts my spirits. Perhaps both.
That was surprising at the end. Thought someone will guide the ball into the net. But we have a 🐐 here
Suddenly disappointed in my 3 year old’s hooping skills. Time to hit the gym
I'm 23 and my dad is still disappointed
[удалено]
33 here, my dad never came back from getting cigarettes but if he came back i bet he’d be disappointed.
[удалено]
Hmm "the gym". That's a funny name for a 3 year old
r/cursedcomments Well done!
20 yrs from now: 5’1”
[Spud Webb](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spud_Webb) is 5’6” and won the Slam Dunk contest in 1986!
Aw good for hjm
Someone, give this man an award

You mean your 36 month old?
Love how the dude in the blue shorts gets lost in the moment and is about to body slam hug the kid and then quickly checks himself and reevaluates the appropriate force for the hug
Yeah they’re Serbian, kids a natural at the sport.
they talk Romanian. 'Haide da-i cos' means 'come on, shoot the basket' :)
Haha, exactly the same in Serbian. "Hajde, daj koš!" And with the Jelen beer parasol, pretty sure it's Serbian.
gonna be honest with all the people yelling at once it could be a lot of languages, I thought it was Slovenian since most of the words in there I can understand. The accent isn't slovenian though.
It is Serbian
Bro this kid is gonna dominate the NBA one day.
I really liked the one fella setting a pick, so he could hit the open shot. Lol to funny

I appreciate the quick bit of hesitation by the guy who picked him up- you can tell he had to redirect some of his excitement.
“Wait don’t shake the baby!”
Right that got me too. he was getting ready to go full testosterone chest bump and then realized the kid was as tall as his kneecap and paused to gather himself.
Ppfffttt! I could’ve made that! I’d destroy that kid in some one on one.
Right? They didn’t even try to block him. That kid sucked
They were his teammates tho.
So no opponents? I wonder what kind of game is played with only one team
Black shorts+grey hoodie did a shit job blocking, my opinion is it was rigged from the start
Me and your mom in bed
So we’re Captain America and Iron Man in the Avenger movies, and look how that turned out.
If I throw the kid with ball in his hand and the kid goes through the basket... then who wins the point?
Depends on whos basket you throw him into.. but if its half court, then you just gotta take it behind the 3pt line before you dunk that toddler.
Ya gotta take it back.
If not, gottta check it up
Mr.Beast is located out of NC then.
That lil giggle made me smile so hard.
Every part of this is wholesome!
I wonder if I could rent these guys, I gotta do dishes
I love this idea. Wanna start a business? Lol
I am down for any farting business.
That’s actually a good throw for a 18month old

the little doggy walking behind him too 😭
When you have a good family, life feels like it’s 4 on none.
As someone who does not have a good family, I did not appreciate your punch to the chest this afternoon.
Awh that child’s laughter is adorable.
In serbia, all we have are sharp shooters.... bogdanovic, stojakovic and Gavrilo Princip
no one is getting to the punchline of this comment. A+.

I thought it was Romanian as well
[удалено]
Yeah, Romanian has “haide” (come on) and “treci” (move/pass) as well, so for me their conversation made perfect sense so to say
Osim Puniša Račić ubio Đuru Basarička i Pavla Radića, ranio Ivana Pernara i Ivana Granđu, a smrtno ranio Stjepana Radića.
Guy stops himself from tackling the baby out of excitement
I like how they encouraged him to get up instead of making a big deal about it. Seen so many times when kids cry because their parents make them feel like something bad happened.
Whenever i see my toddler fall, I've always responded "woah! Good landing! Up you get" unless she is actually hurt. Diffuses tears in 98% of cases 😊
Wow! They are all so tall! 👏 🙀
Not that baby though, he’s like regular baby size
They are from the balkans, many tall people there^^
Loved how they let him getup by himself. Much love.
This kid isn’t going to get anywhere with that level of athleticism. Can’t be tripping like that going down the court
Look at the rest of them traveling though...
That was intense. Such a happy moment for the whole team!
And that is how positive reinforcement creates a superstar
This makes me wish there were more people like this
Bro setting a pick lol
I have a 20 month old and I can tell you this is impressive.
Because this kids at least 2
I love how he cleans his hands after falling.
Amazing!!!
I like the little dog following the kid lol
Looks like r/westies
I'm having a bad morning and this made me smile big, thank you.
Pretty sure his aim is better than mine
I love how he faceplants SPLAT and they all just cheer him on!

Serbia creating another goat basketball player
I've seen this like 20 times already
r/snugglyduckling
I was sure someone would pick him up so he could dunk. Well done kiddo!!!
the flawless three man weave is slept on
That child’s laugh while running across the grass is one of the most wholesome sounds in existence.
Serious positive reinforcement is always a great motivator!
I can't even make that shot
ikr?
This made me so emotional. I’m in such a state of despair right now mentally that this absolutely broke me. Humanity, support, joy???? Can’t tell if this is heartbreaking or if it lifts my spirits. Perhaps both.

Oh shit that kid is gonna be flying at the hoop soon.
To all the people saying move to Canada first
As the mother of an 18 month old I find it really hard to believe that child is 18 months old.
