Oh no don't get me wrong, I would enjoy fnaf in fortnite. As I said, I'd buy the skin immediately. As for other collaborations, they do kind of make sense. Most if not (except for the celebrity collabs) kind of fit in as they're usually using guns and fighting enemies (walking dead, Rick and Morty, stranger things, etc. I wouldn't count cobra Kai as from what I can tell it's not the actual characters, just people wearing the outfits) so pinning them to fight against each other isn't that crazy. Like, you could totally imagine Rick or master chief with a gun and killing, right? I can't say the same for any fnaf characters. But then again, you can say the same for anyone from the icon series too. In the end I'm saying I'm all for it. I'd love to see it because imagining Freddy cranking 90's is funny. I'd buy the skin if/when it comes out. I just don't think it makes sense. But then again as you said earlier, half of these collabs don't really either.

It’s got a dedicated community for one and active communities tend to keep people involved in a series/fandom. And two, a lot of younger people are nostalgic about it because it was the trendy YouTube game to play in 2014-2015 for all the big YouTubers. The game was literally everywhere to an annoying extent then. And in turn I’m sure there’s a lot of fortnite crossover since it got big a few years after that. If you were a middle schooler watching FNAF content on YouTube in 2014, you were in early-to-mid high school when BRs came to fortnite so it tracks. I never personally got into FNAF, but I was well past the target demographic for it. As a horror game fan though I definitely respect it. And I know a lot of people love the series, so if it comes in the game that’d be great for them.

Crossover cosmetics are usually 2 skins, a pickaxe for each skin, backbling for each skin, and an emote. I'm guessing (If they're going for a small crossover) it would be freddy and bonnie, with gold styles. (Golden freddy and golden bonnie) If they come out with all 4 that'd be awsome but most small crossovers are just 2. Still excited to see if and what they will do with this!
