Exactly this. I don't get why people say "they're just reps bro"... it doesn't matter. If I'm going to spend money on something then I'm going to appreciate it and treat it with care and caution.

Few things 1 - Not everyone is wasteful. 2 - Just because someone is being wasteful and throwing things away doesn't mean adding to that problem is right. 3 - Energy has to be input no matter what, the factories might be doing some great reps but they can't change the laws of thermodynamics. 4 - I dont want to waste money but I don't want to waste energy either.

Because reps don’t maintain the same value (money wise) as your retail pairs. You can still take care of reps, but people take care of retails with a lot more energy and are more cautious. People with reps are more likely to wear (for example) Travis Scott dunks as daily wear. It’s not about taking care of your possession but more or so the level of energy you put into it. So the question really is “Do you take care of replica items to the extent of real items that increase / hold in value over time”

Nope. I always take care of my clothes, doesn't matter whether it's reps or retail. for three reasons: 1. They may have been cheaper than retail but they still cost money. 2. They may have been cheaper but they took a while to get to my house, plus the risk of customs. So I paid the difference in time and a bit of anxiety. 3. This is the most important reason: I don't want to be seen in public wearing outfits that look like they weren't cared for or taken care of. It lowers my appearance, lowers other people's first impressions of me, and lowers my attraction level.

I grew up with brothers and sisters. So we would only get two pair of shoes a year. Start of school and Christmas.now that I’m way older I still treat my shoes like I have to make them last. So even my reps I treat them with care. I also grew up in a low income family. So anything I buy now I always take care of it.

They take so long to get and it's such a process I feel like it's almost as difficult as winning a raffle by waking up early and going to multiple sites and that while jazz. Also, they're not cheap once you factor in shipping. I end up paying like 75% of retail on some of my pieces so yeah I treat them like the retail I've won from raffles.

I treat them like regular clothes. I’ll wear them often and repeatedly which I would feel guilty about if they were retail. I also dont freak out if I spill something on them, it helps with the heartache
