I think it should remove the stagger effect that happens when you fall from a moderate to great height. Make you move fluidly even through acrobatics and large falls, like a cat. It would still be useless for combat but would at least smooth out exploration a bit.
They already buffed everyone's fall damage resistance up to the point where the damage is half your max hp. It was useful in previous Souls games because you started taking damage much earlier.
Maybe SPECIFICALLY in Proscription. As an opt out for that platforming. But otherwise I don't really know if it's necessary. It wouldn't really come up in most places that matter.

As is it is pretty useless. Especially when Dex partially does what it does. If it buffed survivable drop rate a bit, that would be much better.
