🙏 THANK YOU

Feisty_Base4342

Of course 😁

Umbra-Noctis

Thank you for sharing.

cosmic_child777

Yes they do. Don't stop even after you achieve your goal.

blakelane11

I won’t

ourmartyr1

Yep experimenting with OBE gave me a huge massive breakthrough spiritually fast. More then most other meditation techniques.

razedbyrabbits

Agh yessss these tapes are awesome. I'm so happy they exist. How lucky are we for that fr

Umbra-Noctis

we are lucky to live in a time where this knowledge is open to all human beings

Ascendixx

Does this actually work and what tapes do I watch

razedbyrabbits

The tapes work by guiding you to a meditative, physiological state which is conducive to producing APs. It does not teach you how to separate but sometimes it happens spontaneously like it did with OP. I would listen to *The Gateway Experience* series *Wave 1*. That's 6 tapes. Listen to them in order, repeat them as necessary, have patience, and make sure to read the manual first. These tapes are a training tool. After some repeated use, you'll be able to reach the physiological states necessary on your own.

DorianHunk

Are you supposed to listen to all of them in 1 go? Like in 1 session?

razedbyrabbits

No, one at a time. Be sure to read the manual first. Very important.

Decent_Cicada9221

What if you don’t have the manual?

razedbyrabbits

Then go get it 😅 It's online

Umbra-Noctis

a user pasted the link to all tapes(in this topic comments). Download them and start in order from wave 1. the second audio from tape1(intro to focus 10) should be in your attention for some time. You can have several different experiences already in Focus 10.

serfsup666

were you on your back or like this 🧘‍♂️

blakelane11

I was laying down on my bed

Traditional-Hawk4750

You ARE the tunnel

[deleted]

Haven’t heard about that and now I’m curious. I have been using Michaels techniques to do it and it has been improving slowly but what helped me was sleeping listening to theta waves.

blakelane11

I heard about this tapes on this sub honestly I have tried theta wave too but it didn’t do anything other then relax me

[deleted]

It really relaxes me but apparently for me it helps me to detach from my body.

steelholder

How is this done?

blakelane11

On YouTube type gateway experience it’s a series of video you can use for meditation

outofthiswrldgrl

Is the YouTube channel that has the video series called soul frequency?

Decent_Cicada9221

Yes it is

outofthiswrldgrl

Am I crazy or did the videos get taken down again 😭

Decent_Cicada9221

A few days ago Soul Frequency was a YouTube channel on my list and now it’s not there anymore

outofthiswrldgrl

😭😭I hope it comes back

Intelligent-Ad-9029

Thank you 😊

Mean-Copy

How long did the whole training take?

blakelane11

I don’t know I haven’t done it all yet I listened two tracks only yet, it depends I guess if you do it daily or once a week, I will do 1 or 2 track x day

JAW00007

You APed on your first try? Also curious to your timeline

blakelane11

No this is not my first time, my first time was years ago and was more advanced, last few years I just had sleep paralysis but cuold not get out anymore, so I’ve been tryng again to meditate and this seem to be working

blakelane11

Yes first time tryng the gateway though

echofish

I didn't know you were "supposed" to have an oob in the first episodes, but that those were just training you to reach focus 10.

razedbyrabbits

Nono, you're not *supposed* to have one. If you were, I'm sure it would have been detailed in the manual. But sometimes it does happen spontaneously. Seem pretty common tho. Happened to me too. I think it was tape 5. Or maybe 3?

PatTheCatMcDonald

IIRC, the Monroe Institute line is that an OOBE is not guaranteed while working through Gateway. However it is not uncommon, and perhaps the majority of people do have them. I say "perhaps" here because I don't think there are statistics for all tape users, but obviously the Institute does maintain records of students who attend.

blakelane11

I guess It is subjective

blakelane11

It’s not my first obe I have had multiple before so I guess for me it was easier to do it it depends on the person really

in-sightful

I seem to recall someone saying to go slow, because you can distort your reality by going fast. You may want to research this. Forgive me for wanting the best for people.

AbacusDumbledore

Bit vague

Two20two_ii

Hey, I hear that bang too! Sometimes, as I'm falling asleep, it'll be more of a balloon pop but it's so real I'd swear it right next to my ear. I haven't really tried to ap and I really just use the tapes for meditation (release recharge kinda changed my life) but maybe I got what it takes! I've heard sleep paralysis is a part of it and that scares me everytime I go through it (before I even meditated or started therapy I would get these paralysis episodes almost once a week, unexpectedly. It's terrifying to me). But reading gives me hope that I can bypass that. Also I have not been put into that state since starting ssri's and therapy for anxiety, don't if I could if I wanted to now...

Umbra-Noctis

the barrier is fear,Robert Monroe guides you through gateway experience having this in mind. Follow the tapes in order and reading the corresponding PDF before practicing. You will overcome fear when you experience that there's not to be fear about. Just follow the tapes.

Two20two_ii

What's interesting to me is that I've lost the ability, temporarily hopefully, to go into sleep paralysis; even by accident since starting this. I click out a lot so I have a long way to go still but I haven't had one episode and I was a frequent prisoner in my own body. Now that I've found the tapes tho I would love to try out their techniques in this unique state of mind, just gotta get there again somehow.

Umbra-Noctis

If you feel you need an OOBE to keep you advancing may i suggest another method? Just dont forget gateway experience, since its not only for OOBEs. Michael Raduga has a method better suited for first experiences, its simple to remember and works when you wakeup(body already relaxed and still in sleep trance). He is responsible for most ppl OOBEs since his method has really high success rate. Just dont forget to come back to gateway experience afterwards. Michael Raduga is a researcher that created and improved a set of techniques for 12 years and experimented them in 7.000 people(personally) and recently achieved 2/3 success rate. After 11-20 tries, the success rate goes to 90%. (You can do multiple tries per night) https://remspace.net/files/the\_phase.pdf With his FREE E-BOOK you can start practicing after finishing the first chapter. (after your first success, continue reading the book) His method works AFTER you wake-up, since your brain is already in trance state(but leaving it each second), so you can use techniques to improve the trance and achieve an OBE with full consciousness and physical-like sensations. Simplifying to extremes: You will sleep normally and wakeup in 5-6 hours , stay awake for 3 to 45 minutes (this has a biologic purpose, explained in the book), then you go to sleep again, but this time you will naturally wakeup MULTIPLE times, each wakeup can be used to do techniques and have an OBE experience . With his method, your normal sleeping cycle is the entry point. From start, this practice may stress the brain and should be used 3 nights per week initially. This improves with experience as explained in the book.

Two20two_ii

Oh God thank you so much I will try this tonight. Literally about to forage for mugwort just to see if I can haha. This sounds more up my alley. I am very grateful, super underrated comment. 🙏

Arlenna1

How do you find the manual for each tape if you’re watching on YouTube?

blakelane11

Or if do while you scared you not gonna have a nice experience

blakelane11

You don’t have to be scared , if you scared you’ll never ap

Two20two_ii

Yea I just had bad intro sleep paralysis, as most do, it's a tough one for sure.

blakelane11

There’s nothing to fear , you should be scared of the living thought lol

No_Cancel3600

sowwy for a newb question, but what's exactly AP?

No_Cancel3600

never mind, I've just realised on which subreddit we are...

Sad-Cupcake7259

Thanks for the post. How were you able to rule out the possibility that the boom and movement you felt wasn't the result of a case of exploding head syndrome and hypnotic jerk? About twice a week I would suddenly feel a sensation of being shot up from bed or feeling like I'm falling. I've heard a booming sound a few times as well. All this would occur sometimes when I meditate or when I'm just trying to sleep. With that in mind, if it were me, I would need to experience more, like seeing my own body from above, before concluding the gateway experience works. Would love to here your thoughts

bunnyrito

Out of curiosity what headphones do you use to listen to the tapes while you sleep

razedbyrabbits

Any standard or better stereo headphones will work. Even crappy stereo ones can work –I've tried.

EffectAdventurous764

Yes it works I used them years ago. I might give it another try now. Also Binaural beats worked well for me👍

jackzjonez

Honestly I’ve listened to the tapes and I feel like I’ve gotten close but these old tapes creep me out and I get scared that if I end up leaving my body there’s going to be some scary entity in my room. Sometimes i’ll hear ringing or a bang or something & I instantly jump out of bed in real life. Can anyone offer me any tips?

Inevitable-Bid-6645

If you’re scared of entities beyond the physical plane: picture a singularity into which all your energy flows & causes it to expand. Picture this then becoming a cylinder or “tube”. Finally imagine this tube becoming a net or dome with which you cover your physical self. You’ll have to maintain at least some recollection of the barrier AT ALL TIMES. Otherwise you leave your physical self susceptible to other entities while you AP. I find it easier though to have a friend project the barrier while I AP, or vice versa.

Persanity

I can't find good copies. They are all modified by compression algorithms. Does anybody know a good, read free, source for the original unmodified versions?

Two20two_ii

[I gotchu](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vZJg5oJvfYVwWryJh05pfkZTV0cnd026) these are the FLAC versions, uncompressed and huge. Might take a sec to load in your media player. I like VLC, just make sure you hit the flac checkbox if installing.

Persanity

Thank you so much!

Two20two_ii

Npnp have fun!

razedbyrabbits

Wow this is so, so generous 😳 I'm going to replace my compressed files with these goodies right away. I am so excited to try them out.

AC011422

Question for you: Do you have better luck doing all the tapes in order over time, or is it better to stick to one track (introduction to Focus 10, for example)?

psychophant_

Not OP but you proceed on when you feel comfortable with the last tape. Some of the exercises you don’t need to do to AP, like the 1 year patterning, for example. They are just extra exercises to show you what is possible in these mental states.

razedbyrabbits

Exactly what psychophant said. Like exactly. When I did them for the first time, I did each tape a minimum of three times and until I felt comfortable with the material. Just to make sure it was really integrated. You know? Patience is so important

razedbyrabbits

Persanity

Is Wave 7 incomplete? It only contains 1 file

Inevitable-Bid-6645

You are seriously the best for posting this🤝

Electrical_Mobile_76

Can you download this on your phone or does it have to be a computer?

Appropriate_Tailor93

Nice! I personally never had the results (like you) that I was looking for, but even the folks at the Monroe Institute say that OOBEs are not guaranteed because there are various ways the effects can be experienced. Maybe I will give them another try.

Pink0366

Congratulations! When you first started listening did you fall asleep? It’s so hard for me to stay fully awake whenever I try to listen.

blakelane11

Yes i did
