Show up on time, learn as much as you can, don't start any drama. Rinse and repeat.

Topless_monkey

Don't fuck it up

yummerscummers

Drop a steamy dump in the toilet and don’t flush it. No one will suspect the new person.

CaptainDeadSpa

Show up early, bring donuts and bagels.

Dingalingpingpong

Give up

wvualum07

Don’t screw up

nickrashell

Go up to the biggest guy in the building and punch him in the throat to let everyone know you don’t take any shit. Alternately you could just be friendly and humble and listen to advice anyone has to offer.

Asd12_bleu

I'd say you could try socializing with other people (but not too much, because you'll be annoying) I worked in a restaurant where the lady supervising me didn't want me to speak to other people because it could «distract» me and even after 1 month, people didn't know I could speak French. Also, remember, you can say «no» and refuse things or even quit if you find the place sketchy (as I should have done). You're an employee, not a slave. Edit: Forgot to say that I live in a French-speaking region.

bedside-FETiSH

DON'T FUCKING DO MORE THAN WHAT OTHERS ARE DOING IN THE SAME POSITION. Stick to the pace, unless there's opportunity, then go balls to the wall.

Michelle50plus

Get a good night of sleep. Be on time.

sknightwrites

Don’t sleep at your desk.

Shakkedemus

Know the importance of getting coffee for colleagues. But do not go to often.

AustinDiggler

Show up ten minutes early AND DO NOT EFFIN LEAVE AT THE CRACK OF 5:00 (or whatever time your day / shift, etc. ends)
