Take PwC. EY working hours my friends experienced before, it’s very long.

I see... by any chance, is the salary the same for both firms? May I know which industry is your friend working in? and do you have any friends from pwc sg that gave a good feedback?

LittleSmarty

Salary is the same, bonus should be equivalent. They are working in the assurance and consulting industries.

Just wondering if its in ur position, would you risk it and try to tender in pwc and then retract the acceptance and work permit if there is an offer from pwc sg?

LittleSmarty

If I were to decide based on your current circumstances, I won't risk it. PwC might not be able to get an EP, while right now EY could process your EP for you?

pahaonta

If you're on EP, need to take that into account. Are you confident pwc can get you an EP? And back to back application are ok?

Hi there, I havent resigned and interview yet for pwc sg yet. The consideration i have right now is EP. I'm afraid once i withdraw the EY EP. It might be hard to apply EP again for pwc side. Hence, i did not tender in current pwc job yet. Just wondering if its worth taking the risk and tender my current pwc role and then go for the interview.

> I'm afraid once i withdraw the EY EP. It might be hard to apply EP again for pwc side Exactly, I was told MoM doesnt look kindly at people who apply EP application back to back. Because you cannot apply for 2 EP at once. So you either need to cancel your EP with EY first, then apply again with PWC. Had something like this happen to me, the 2nd offer comes after my EP application started. And had to reject the 2nd offer, because its too much risk for me (the 2nd offer is not significantly better).
